The StarNight Express

Come on board the SalsaTrain and celebrate our Summer StarNight Express themed party night. Dress up as a music star (Optional but costumes welcome).

This event forms the party night of our weekly Weds SalsaTrain (Salsa Classes event). This event will take the format of party nights held for Bonfire Night (Society Ball), Christmas (Movie Magic) in 2022, our 1st party of 2023 – Broadway Masquerade Party with Phantom of the Opera theme and most recently – Spring Rueda Special for Easter.

Order of the night: 6pm – midnight with the following schedule (approximate timings): (Please eat before arrival).

6pm Doors Open

1st Stop 6-6.45pm Salsa Classes for Beginners and Improvers

2nd Stop 7-7.45pm Bachata Classes for Beginners and Improvers

3rd Stop 7.45-8.30pm – Kizomba for Beginners

Final Stop 8.30-Midnight – Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba music and dancing

Venue Info

The event will take place at the Selhurst Railway Club in Selhurst South London. This venue is nice and spacious and COVID friendly. There are plenty of tables and seats available for up to 150 guests.

Selhurst Railway Club is a stones throw from Selhurst train station – well connected by London Victoria, Clapham Junction and East Croydon.

Upon arrival please press the buzzer and wait to be let in.

You might need to show your pre paid ticket on your phone & might be asked to give your details to the club management or staff on the door as part of the clubs COVID track & trace policy.

You will then be escorted into the room .

The venue has a fully stocked bar at extremely reasonable prices & crisps, nuts. Please note there will be no proper food available to buy. It is a very spacious venue and has a very comfortable feel with great wooden floor for dancing.
