Live Band Special

Come join us for a night of sizzling salsa music and dancing on the SalsaTrain at Selhurst Railway Club! Our live band will keep you grooving all night long with their infectious rhythms. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a newbie to salsa, this event is perfect for everyone looking to have a great time. So grab your dancing shoes and get ready to shake it on the dance floor!
The Colombian singer Adriana Santana has been on the Salsa circuit for quite a while and has performed at quite a few venues recently & cruise ships. She has led well known bands like Palenke and Kachaco in the past & now brings Kinashow to the SalsaTrain.
The night will start off with our usual classes and following the below schedule:
Doors open 6pm
Free stop – 6.30-7pm Bachata Time (Music, Dance & Practice for 30 mins).
1st stop – 7.15-8pm – Beginners and Improvers Salsa Classes (No partner necessary)
2nd stop – 8pm -11pm – Party with Kinashow and DJ Dom
Homeward Bound 11pm
£25 for 1 class plus party on the night, or £15 for party only. Early bird tickets for Salsa class & party for £20 until 12th June.

The classes are fun & interactive with Dominic Insta(Salsa_Legend) with over 20 years salsa experience, and Trish with 10 years teaching experience. Dominic’s style is Predominately L.A. on 1/ cuban fusion. He was placed 1st in the Tropicana Tropics World Open Salsa Championship (Ama Division) 2003, has performed with a team of dancers at the 2005 UK salsa congress and placed as runner up in the European Open Salsa Championships (Cab 2007). He has also performed at the Scandinavian Salsa Congress 2009 in Sweden; as part of a team at one of the New York Salsa Congresses and instructed for many salsa promoters within the UK and Internationally.
During lockdown, Dom launched his weekly music show “Sundown Salsa Live” on Mixcloud and has recently played regularly on OSSR radio every Friday 10am-12pm. Trish teaches the beginner class and has had experience teaching with another Salsa Group.

Venue details and information.
Selhurst Railway Club is a stones throw from Selhurst train station – well connected by London Victoria, Clapham Junction and East Croydon. Upon arrival please press the buzzer and wait to be let in. You will need to show your pre paid ticket on your phone & asked to give your details to the club management.
You will then be escorted into the room to board the SalsaTrain.
The venue has a fully stocked bar at extremely reasonable prices & crisps, nuts. It is a very spacious venue and has a very comfortable feel with great wooden floor for dancing.
